About Us

Quietnest is a Canadian owned and operated acoustics company. Our 100% wool felt is natural, sustainable, biodegradable, and recyclable, all while maintaining superior performance and quality; a true rarity in the acoustics industry!
Our dynamic team possesses over a decade of combined experience delivering and managing acoustic solutions across a wide range of projects. From high-end commercial offices, to public transit facilities, to home offices, we've transformed spaces of noisy clutter into atmospheres of clarity and focus.
Wool is the wonder product of the acoustic panel industry, as it's surprisingly dense padding, and highly regarded for its durability.
Why we use all-natural Wool
– Our felt is a LEED© contributor
– Wool meets the human-ecological requirements of Oeko-Tex© Standard 100
– Air purifier: wool felt absorbs airborne contaminants and smells
– Inherently fire retardant. No added chemicals required to meet building fire standards
– Natural, sustainable, and renewable. Our wool is sourced from sheep farms in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and South America. The sheep are sheared and their coats are allowed to grow back each year.
– Recyclable and biodegradable
– Dyes used in Designer Felt are bold, vegetable-based and colorfast

Working From Home: The New Reality

Now that covid has transformed companies to operate digital by default, our friends and family finally understand our pain point of decent office acoustics. Now we're helping the surge of people adapt to their new work-from-home environment.

As a natural fiber, wool felt does a lot of its own cleaning and maintenance. Lanolin, the naturally occurring waxy coating on the wool fibers, helps felt resist mold and mildew. Our wool also qualifies for LEED® certification as MR Credit 6.0 Rapidly Renewable Resource as the sheep's wool is harvested in a sustainable manner.
